## NASA Sets Coverage for Starliner News Conference, Return to Earth ### News Conference on Starliner's Return to Earth NASA will host a news conference at 1 p.m. EDT on Wednesday, May 25, to discuss the return to Earth of the agency's uncrewed Boeing Starliner spacecraft. The spacecraft is scheduled to land at White Sands Space Harbor in New Mexico at 6:39 p.m. EDT that day. The news conference will be streamed live on NASA Television, the NASA website, and the agency's social media platforms. ### Starliner's Mission The Starliner spacecraft launched on a United Launch Alliance Atlas V rocket from Space Launch Complex-41 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida on May 19. The spacecraft successfully docked with the International Space Station on May 20 and conducted a series of tests and demonstrations during its stay. The Starliner spacecraft is designed to carry astronauts to and from the International Space Station, and it is part of NASA's Commercial Crew Program. The program is working to develop and certify commercial spacecraft to transport astronauts to and from the space station. ### Return to Earth The Starliner spacecraft will undock from the space station on May 25 and return to Earth. The spacecraft will enter Earth's atmosphere and land at White Sands Space Harbor.
