UEFA Champions League 2023-24: Group Stage Standings Announced
Eight Groups of Four Teams To Compete for a Spot in the Knockout Stages
The highly anticipated UEFA Champions League group stage draw took place on Thursday, August 25, 2023, and the results have set the stage for an exciting season of European football.
The 32 qualified teams have been divided into eight groups of four, with each team facing every other team in their group home and away. The top two teams from each group will advance to the knockout stages, while the third-placed teams will enter the UEFA Europa League.
The group stage will begin on September 6, 2023, and will conclude on December 12, 2023. The knockout stages will take place in February and March of 2024, with the final scheduled for May 25, 2024, at the Ataturk Olympic Stadium in Istanbul, Turkey.
Defending champions Real Madrid will be looking to win their fifth consecutive Champions League title, but they will face stiff competition from a number of other top European clubs, including Manchester City, Bayern Munich, and Liverpool.
