In a pulsating El Clasico encounter at Camp Nou on Saturday, Real Madrid emerged victorious with a 2-1 triumph over Barcelona. The match, played in front of a packed crowd, saw both teams create numerous chances but it was the visitors who ultimately took the spoils.

However, it was Real Madrid who had the last laugh when Rodrygo scored the winner in the 83rd minute. The Brazilian forward picked up the ball on the edge of the box and unleashed a powerful shot that flew into the top corner of the net.
The victory means that Real Madrid now move six points clear of Barcelona at the top of the La Liga standings. Los Blancos have now won four of their last five El Clasico encounters and will be confident of extending their lead when the two teams meet again in the Copa del Rey semi-final next month.
For Barcelona, the defeat is a major setback in their hopes of retaining the La Liga title. The Blaugrana have now lost three of their last four games and they will need to improve their form quickly if they are to challenge Real Madrid at the top of the table.
